Financial Collection Agencies
Data is an integral part of the business of collecting money. While CBS has not developed tools to collect money, it has interfaced with some of the largest and most powerful software that allows different types of industries "talk to" these Financial Collection data tools. Basically, CBS takes the pain out of merging different types of systems.
Here is an example of how CBS works in this industry. When you cut a phone line, a telephone company has incurred financial fees to fix the broken like, sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars. Since the phone companies are not in the business of collecting this money, they contract with Financial Collection Agencies. These agencies have powerful software that helps them collect the most money for their customers. The problem? They must accept data from many different formats and feed that data into their software. Interfaces are complicated to build and maintain, especially since customers are constantly updating and changing their systems. CBS has been there for its customers to insure that data will flow quickly and consistently from entirely different systems to maximize productivity.
