Oil & Gas Industry

The Oil & Gas Industry is very large in Oklahoma, the headquarters for CBS. CBS built a system, called Production Master, which gathers daily data from oil & gas wells, stores and processes that data, and determines the productivity and contract management of oil & gas wells. Primarily used by Producers, this system of gathering data is designed to do two major things: Determine the production throughput of oil and gas wells, and manage contracts for all the investors and royalty owners.

When investors look for producers to team with in the Oil & Gas Industry, one major factor they look for is: "How can I be sure to get the best return on my dollar?" From CBS' experience in the Oil & Gas Industry as well as its ability to gather and process data, a tool was born that allows these producers to check all the early warning signs of a well's lack of production. It also keeps the oil & gas purchasers honest and assures all its investors and royalty owners they are receiving the proper money from the purchasers. In effect, it keeps the wells as productive and profitable as possible.

Although produced in 1986, this system is still powerful and used in the industry today.
